Data Services features
Data Service Registration
Registration of all CRM users is required for Data Services to function. Registration is free but is required to align CRM Users for potential Jigsaw use. CRM users Email address is required in the CRM. User record to be read here If any CRM Users listed below show the X status Use the “Update Registration” button to register any newly enabled CRM Users.
Settings: Data Service Set-up
If you have a Data Service account(s) with Jigsaw.com enter the credential of any existing account which will allow all CRM users access according to their Data Service User Privileges. Or open a new account below and enter that chosen credential that is typically the administrator’s email address.
Jigsaw Account Individuals Set-up
Individuals with Jigsaw accounts and Point credits may access their accounts through Dynamics CRM as there own or shared as needed by the Organization

Set CRM User individual privileges to allow Users to import or update Account and Contact records according to the needs of the individual, department, or organization. Account import and update is free of charge
Settings: Field-Level Record Addition Controls Page
This setting allows CRM Administrators to establish controls on new record additions to the CRM database from the Data Service. The settings include Duplicate Detection Criteria for recognizing and preventing duplicate record addition, as well as Company and Contact Addition Criteria which allows setting default value overrides for categorization and selection fields used in marketing and other segregation tasks. An example might be setting a field called Source to a value of “Data Service”.

Data Service background functionality includes updating of basic Jigsaw database fields to the CRM database such as Jigsaw account/contact ID and record owner, this can be used in a batch to determine the “Quality” or “Fix” status where the data services has better information and “Available” Contacts to increase depth of CRM contacts. Subsequently these fields can be use to update CRM information automatically.

Data Service Record Reconciliation
To assure that your valuable CRM Account and Contact records are as accurate as possible keep all CRM records matched to the Data Service. An Data Service Record Reconciliation menu indicates that a background process as determined that some records have more than one possible match and require your manual intervention to finalize the reconciliation process. The list below on the left are Company records that have more than one potential match in the Data Service. Work down the list on the left by selecting the correct match or "No Match" on the right.
Data Contribution for Data Service Page
This is a valuable batch process function for Jigsaw users relying on “Point” credits for their CRM data service. This function compares CRM Accounts to Jigsaw accounts, which is a free function, to determine any CRM Accounts NOT in Jigsaw so that they can be submitted to Jigsaw. An assumption is made that if the Account is new to Jigsaw then all CRM Contacts for that Account are new also and can be contributed to Jigsaw to earn credit. Upon running this batch process an email will be sent with attachments of .csv files called “New Data Service Accounts” and “New Data Service Contacts” and instructions for uploading or sending these to Jigsaw to process for credits.

To add Contacts for Accounts that you added to CRM for free from the Data Service, adding “Contact” breadth to work with more individuals at your customers, or just bringing your older “Contact” information up to date can be done simply by purchasing a number of contacts that fits your needs below. Data quality monitoring can be viewed for the current and historic numbers against the Data Service to understand quality ratings of OK - Matches Data Service, Fix -Needs Update, NA - Not Available in the Data Service - or Not Reconciled to the Data Service where potential matches needed to be verified.
