One can create any number of internal consultants using the following form. Setting -> ConsultPro -> Internal Consultant -> new

Consultant group
Now some services may require two or more consultant. For that purpose we need to create consultant groups. This can be created using the following form.

Component Templates
To create component template goto Consult-Pro Settings-->Component Templates. To create new component follow the below steps, Click on New.
Click on New which is a lookup for activity template ---> select the existing activity template or create new activity template as required

In the grid you can found 4 columns
Name --- Name of selected activity
Task Id --- Primary id for this component
Dependencies --- This field is used when you have show the dependency. e.g. in the figure you can see Task id 1 has dependencies 2,3 means first complete the task 2,3 and then start 1
Offset --- Set the offset in hr and min to start the task after project started. This field is not depend on dependencies.click on save
Project Template
It is a collection of component templates. To create component template goto Consult-Pro Settings-->. To create new project template follow the below steps, Click on New.
Activity Template
Activity Templates are the standard collection of common single work description to be used again in the future. Create and Manage Activity Templates. To create activity template goto ConsultPro Settings. To create new activity template follow the below steps, Click on New.
How to Start Project
You can start the project with the existing opportunities or create new.
To create new Opportunity
Goto-->Sales-->Opportunities-->New
Creation of Project
In the figure, we have created one opportunity now we will create project for it.
Goto Service:--> Project
Click on Add it will show two options

When we have already the same project for the opportunity
Component TemplateWhen you click on this it opens Component window to select the component you have already added
Place a New Order
Goto Sales-->OrdersàNew
Click on it and Save it.
Open the order, Goto?Service:-->Project
Click on Convert To Project button.
Goto Order-->Service:Project-->
Click on Open Project button.
It opens the the project where you can see all the details about the project and also you can see the project schedule and resource schedule.

It will display the form like below
In the left grid you can see the list of activities and in right grid name of resources with progress
You can changeStart time, End time, resource and effort.

In Resource Scheduler you can add resources
Below image indicates that project is 100% completed.

Post Time
Here we can define the actual start and end date of an activity. You can change the time on the start and end date of an activity and also  edit the non-billable amount.

Post Issue
This area is for submitting the issues that come across the project when consulants are working.
When you Click on Post Issue by entering Outcome Description, you can see this under Project à Risk Analysis. For getting display the issue in Risk Analysis you must have to select either Low,Medium or High alet in Outcome Rating.
Load Resources
Load Resources page will allow you to add resources to your project
Select the project from project lookup. Verify Customer and left list box will automatically filled with the values from project.
Pre Billing
This is an area where you can change the non-billable duration.Here you can release the activities for generating statemens.if you drop an item from here it will not come again to this grid.
Generate Statements
On this form select the From and To Date and Click on Fetch to generate the statement.
When you click on Generate after the project from grid. The statement gets automatically attached to your email in pdf format from where you can send to end user.
After completion of full project, Click on Save as Template button so that the project will be saved in template format and you can use it next time if the same type of project repeats.
Assignments
On creation of an order product, an assignment will be automatically created
Statement
When the next billing date is arrived, the module will generate a statement giving details of starting retainer, amount expended, amount received and balance retainer between the two billing dates.
Statement Line Item
The statement line item will give you the assignment wise breakup of the statement. i.e. the amount expended is nothing but the total of unbilled amount of all the assignments done for this account in this period.

Statement line item will give us the assignment name and the amount expended for that assignment. This gives us a clear picture that the retainer amount is being used for which assignments and to what extent.
